The Dun Inn

In the unique setting of Glenbeag in the West Highlands, are two of the best preserved Iron Age forts in the country. These drystone, hollow walled structures known as Brochs or Duns guard an ancient drove route from the Islands to Central Scotland. Using our own spring water and organic ingredients, Dun Brewing produces a range of craft beers in our small Brewery directly below Dun Troddan.

The ‘Dun Inn’ lounge bar is located adjacent to the brewery - formerly a cow shed, decorated with rustic furniture, a dartboard and a wood burning stove. A superb location for downing a pint of fine ale, or two.

We usually have three or four beers on draught as well as organic wine and cider, soft drinks and coffee. We have snacks such as crisps and nuts and we serve hot pies handcrafted by Jarvis Pickle.
